Lady Flames Convincing Win
Central Districts Lions (34) lost to Norwood Flames (105)
When first on the ladder takes on last in any competition it is always an interesting litmus test for the competitiveness of the league. When the Flames took on the Lion's this weekend, the result was not pretty with the biggest score gap of the season so far, Norwood defeated Centrals by 71 points.
The Flames offense overwhelmed the Lions scoring 52 points in the paint while their defense limited Centrals to only 8 points in the key all night. Jess Good led the charge for Norwood scoring 25 points and making 10 rebounds. Cara Boothey also had a great night with a double double with 10 rebounds and 11 points. She also chalked up 4 assists, 2 blocks and 2 steals for the game.
Amy Herriman led the scoring for the Lions with 10 points and Brianna Wedding led her teams in rebounds with 7 total.
