Lady Bearcats Maul the Mavs
West Adelaide Bearcats (78) defeated Eastern Mavericks (64)
The Bearcat's women asserted themselves over the new look Eastern Mavericks 78- 64 on Saturday night.
West's Kate Shierlaw and new recruit Stana Zecevic put out fine performances for the red and black, backed up by Alana Nairn with 8 rebounds and Megan Mcleod with 5 assists.
The Mavs Emma Hooley did well with a double double (18 points and 13 rebounds) and Shannon Tarran and Amanda McDermot put in a tight efforts but sadly it wasn't enough for the win.
