WHO TO NOMINATE – CRITERIA
Your nominee could be someone who contributed to the completion of a significant project this year or it could be one of your up-and-under ‘players’ whose roles have been several over a longer period of dedication and commitment to the Club. Either way, please ensure they first satisfy the eligibility criteria below.
To be eligible for consideration a nominee must:
1. Be a current member of a Western Australian Women’s League club, or Board of Directors (including sub-committee members); and
2. Have given notable voluntary service to the League; and
3. Be a willing, voluntary contributor, having received no income from football (honoraria excepted); and
4. Be an ambassador for the game of football who acts and works for the best interest of the game, never bringing the game into disrepute.
HOW TO NOMINATE
Complete the nomination form below and submit to the West Australian Women’s Football League, by email, fax or post. Nominations must be received by close of business Thursday, 4th August, 2011.

ASSESSMENT PROCESS
It must first be determined that a nominee satisfies the criteria for eligibility for the Award, after which each nomination will be considered on its merits and the recipient of this year’s award decided by special resolution of the West Australian Women’s Football League Board of Directors. The decision of the Board is final.
RECOGNITION
The Lynette Geaney Award recipient will be presented with their award at the WAWFL Presentation Night 2011, 13th August 2011, at the Pan Pacific Hotel. The 2011 recipient will also receive a VIP invitation to the WAWFL Grand Final Presidents luncheon, 4th September, 2011.
