Job Vacancy: Accounts and Administration Officer
Basketball Hawkes Bay manages and runs amateur basketball if the Hawkes Bay region.
In 2014 nearly 900 teams entered basketball competitions and 10 Hawkes Bay teams represented the region at the National Finals.
We have 6 full time staff, 15 contracted staff and 80 referees.
The main role of the position is to record and report financial operation of the organisation and provides administration support to other staff.
The key tasks are:
• Account Processing and reconciliation
• Wage processing
• Contractor payments
• Gaming Trusts Audits
• Financial reports
• IRD Payments
• Annual Accounts
• Data base processing
• Word processing
• Assist with Office Administration
We would consider applications for the Accounts processing only and this would be a 20 hour part-time role.
Experience with Reckon Accounting or MYOB an advantage
Applicants for this position should have NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa
