Super 8 Basketball Championships
The Snr A’s was going for a Back to Back Championship and their consecutive 4th in a row Finals appearance. It was a great tournament with eight very good teams.
Vs Gisborne Boys we won 62-41. Leading players were Harris Solomon with a double double, 24 points and 11 rebounds and Captain Kaleb Edwards with 12 points

Vs Hamilton Boys we won 74-64 but had a 20+ lead most of game. Leading players were Harris Solomon with 25 points, Josh Anderson 21 points, Kaleb Edwards with 14 and Mickey Stirling 10 points. Josh Anderson led with with 8 Rebounds.
VS Napier Boys we won 77-50 with a huge 35 point first quarter! Harlan Solomon led with 26 points and Harris with 22 points.
In Semi finals
We played Rotorua Boys and won 68-49. Harlan Solomon had 22 points, Harris Solomon 18 points and Kaleb Edwards 10 points. Josh Anderson led with 10 rebounds.
In Finals we played new Plymouth Boys who is the best team we have played all year. We got down 22 points in first half and closed the score to 6 with 5 minutes to go in the 4th qtr. We won the 2nd and 3rd quarters and the first 5 minutes of the fourth. They made big plays down the stretch and got all 50/50 balls to close out the game with a win.
Harris and Harlan Solomon were selected to the All Tournament team. Kaleb Edwards wan Honourable mention.
