Basketball Hawkes Bay Head Quarters Blessed and Opened
Our Head Quarters building at 96 A Nuffield Ave was blessed by Mr Val Irwin and opened by the Mayor of Napier Mr Bill Dalton and the Mayor ofHastings and Mr Lawrence Yule on Sunday 23rd November.
Councilor Dave Pipe represented the Hawkes Bay Regional Council and Cr Keith Price (NCC) and Colin Stone (Sport HB) the HB Sports Council.
The official party had representatives from basketball funders, sponsors, members, coaches, referees and players.
The official opening was followed by games of pick up basketball on the outdoor courts.
