Term 3 Kiwi Hoops Basketball Club - Napier

TERM 3: KIWI HOOPS CLUB PROGRAMME - Napier

The Kiwi Hoops clubs activities are designed to assist players to develop their basketball game in a fun setting under Basketball New Zealand Kiwihoops programme levels as follows:

Bounce (5yr to 6yr), Mini (7yr to 8yr), Pro (9yr to 10yr), All Star (11yr to 14yr)

Basketball Hawkes Bay’s Development Coach – Clifton Bush will run weekly basketball sessions in Napier for primary and intermediate school pupils. The goal is to give kids the opportunity to develop and refine their basketball skills in a positive, fun and well-organised learning environment. The program is geared toward fundamental development in the following areas: body movement, basketball specific Skills and Game like skills.

The programme assists the players to gain an improved positive attitude, a greater appreciation for good moral values, and a better understanding of the keys that will lead to their own success. The sport is basketball, but the most important element is the children's overall personal development.
