The SA Junior Championships has been the premier event on the SA basketball calendar for 30 years. On behalf of Basketball SA I would like to welcome you all to this year’s event, and we hope your experience is rewarding.

Across the 4 days of the tournament, 173 teams will compete in 439 games. We welcome players, coaches, team managers and parents from all participating clubs and associations, especially the many that have travelled from country regions to participate. We hope you enjoy a fantastic weekend of basketball.

All schedules, results and ladders are published online on the State Champs SportingPulse website, usually within an hour of the game being played. The easiest way to get to the site is via the Basketball SA web site:

A huge amount of effort goes into an event such as this, and most of it comes from volunteers. I would like to thank all coaches, managers, parents and club volunteers for the time you put into junior basketball, for without it, the sport would not function as it does. I would also like to thank the games commissioners, referees and referee coaches, court supervisors, score table personnel, tournament committee and tournament staff, all of whom play a critical role in the smooth running of the tournament.
