NICOLE TAKES THE BIG V REINS IN 2014
Nicole Howard is the newly appointed “Gardiner McInnes” Warrandyte Venom Big V Championship Women’s Coach for 2014.
The recently crowned 2013 Big V Coach of The Year was announced as the successful candidate by Warrandyte President, Richard Cookes, late last week.
“It was a difficult decision with many exemplary candidates but we knew, given Nicole’s background at the club, that in the end she was the right person for the job”, Cookes said.
Nicole recently coached the Warrandyte Venom Youth League Women to their first championship and steps into this role with years of experience behind her at Warrandyte in the girls and women’s program. She is also co-recipient of the 2013 Warrandyte Coach of the Year Award. Nicole accepted the role of Girls’ Coaching Director with Warrandyte Venom and this has further cemented the level of respect and trust the club as a whole has for her.
Of course the search is now on for a new Warrandyte Venom Youth League Women’s coach. Applications should be forwarded to admin@warrandytebasketball.net.au.
