Young Braves play at Flora Hill
The Bendigo Interact Us Young Braves will be hosting the Coburg Giants at home this weekend.
After having had a few disappointing losses in the last few weeks, the Young Braves boys will be looking to advance their position in the league.
The Young Braves were defeated last week against Werribee and are now looking to step up and play hard to get the win over the Giants. Young Gun Tanner Rayner was a big contributor to last week’s game with an impressive 17 point contribution.
Another stand out for the season so far is Jake Wilcocks, averaging 15 points per game and contributing to the teams overall success so far.
Rayner and Wilcocks will play a key role this weekend in assisting their team mates over the line.
The Bendigo Elgas Young Lady Braves will also be playing at home this weekend, hosting the Waverly Falcons. Much like the Young Men’s side, the Young Lady Braves are coming off two losses and are really looking to step up this weekend and produce the best basketball they are capable of.
With players the calibre of Jessie Rennie and Maddie Sexton in the line-up for this weekend, it is shaping up to be a promising game for the young ladies as they begin their road to finals.
Tip off for the Elgas Young Lady Braves will be at 6pm followed by the Interact Us Young Braves at 8pm at Flora Hill Stadium.
