Coaches, Assistant Coaches & Managers
We need coaches, assistant coaches & managers for all age groups U13, U14, U15, U16 & U18 boys and girls teams. All Positions are available!
We are asking for assistant coaches as a development ground for coaches. This way inexperienced coaches can learn under the head coach and advance to the point of taking a head coach psition down the track and also strengthening the coaching standard accross the association and region.
Anyone wanting to be involved needs to apply in writing to the ABA committee via email to albany.basketball@gmail.com stating experience and which age group they would like to coach for the season along with their contact details.
Please be aware that all coaching staff including managers will need to have or be able to apply for a working with children check in order to travel with the team to Perth.

If you are interested in being a PLAYER.........
Teams are selected via your age as at 31st December 2013 and teams are available for U13's, U14's, U15's U16's & U18's for both Girls and Boys. These are the age limits put in place from BWA so there is no wiggle room on these.
Tryouts for teams for the 2012 - 2013 season will be held on Thursday 20th & Thursday 27th September 2012 at ALAC (Albany Leisure & Aquatic Centre), attendence is required at both tryout sessions.
Girls tryouts will be from 5pm - 6:30pm and Boys tryouts from 6:30 - 8pm.
Please be there early so that you are ready to go at the start time and to confirm your registration. Should you not be able to make it to tryouts but would still like to be considered for a team please email us at albany.basketball@gmail.com with your appologies.
Here is the important part........if you would like to come to tryouts please send your name, address, date of birth, contact number(s) & email address to us at albany.basketball@gmail.com to save you time on tryout night.
