Junior Devils Feature in Victorian SCC teams

Basketball Victoria and Basketball Victoria Country programs will come together  to play each other in a new Basketball Victoria initiative. The Southern Cross Challenge (SCC) will be conducted from the 21st to the 23rd January 2012 in Ballarat. This event will then be held annually on the weekend preceding the Australia Day Weekend in January each year.

The SCC has been designed to give athletes at the Under 14 and Under 15 level an opportunity to compete in a round robin style tournament. Vic Metro will take 8 teams (Two Under 14 Boys & Girls and two Under 15 Boys & Girls Teams) to play against athletes from Victoria Country.

The Werribee Devils will be well represented in the tournament by two Junior Devils players selected to compete at the SCC.

Under 15 Girls; Maddison Rocci

Under 15 Boys; Mitchell Angelton

Werribee Basketball wishes all athletes the very best for their SCC preparations and know that they will represent both themselves and the Werribee Devils well in the January tournament.
