New WBI Board of Directors
The WBI Annual General Meeting was held on Wednesday 4 May 2016.
All 2015 reports were presented and the 2016 positions were filled.
We are happy to announce the following volunteers have filled the following positions:
PRESIDENT - Jeremy Ackroyd
VICE PRESIDENT - Nadine Roach
SECRETARY - Renee Garoni
OFFICER 1 - Linda O'Donohue
OFFICER 2 - Bridget Byrne
Noel Wright continues as our Treasurer.
We have a 12 month vacancy to fill for the Officer 3 position left vacant by Jeremy. If you are interested in possibly taking on this role, please email your interest to Renee on secretary@wangarattabasketball.org.au
We would like to thank Mel Paul for her efforts as Officer for the previous 2 years and also thank Michelle Harrap and Chris Berry for filling in the gaps over the last few months and their input.
Massive thanks goes out to our President of 5 years, Joe Bedendo for all that he has done for the association in that time. Joe has been instrumental in putting WBI in a financial position to allow us to look forward and work towards new courts. If you were at the AGM you would have heard the long list of projects that Joe has undertaken along with the Board over these years - a tremendous effort Joe. We are eternally grateful and wish you all the very best.
