THANK YOU TO BROOKE BURNS
Brooke’s name will always be synonymous with the Magic. She is a life member of our association and has been outstanding in all her roles as player, player/coach and coach.
She had been named SBL Women’s coach of the year and had an enormous influence on the development of the women who have participated in the Mandurah Magic Women’s programme.
This development has extended beyond the basketball court. Brooke’s passion and professionalism has been a major factor in helping guide the growth and development of the many women who have had the opportunity to train with and alongside her as a player and a coach.
Borrowing the words of West Coast Eagles chairman last week “As the history of our club evolves, it will take someone exceptional to have a greater impact on this club. In 100 years from now, I imagine the name Brooke Burns will still command the greatest respect.”
