Mackay Basketball are proud to announce it has continued it’s relationship with the Quest In Mackay in 2016. 

Mackay Basketball Business Development Manager Wade Rebetzke said “ The support of The Quest in Mackay over the last 6 years has been an integral part of the clubs growth and ability to bring quality marquee players to the Mackay Basketball program”.  The Quest is a wonderful organisation that is now offering a rebate system which local sporting communities like ourselves can become involved in, giving their club an opportunity to gain funds to purchase equipment, upgrade facilities or offset some club costs at grass roots level”.  I think this is a wonderful initiative that the Quest is putting in place and it’s great to see businesses giving back to the local community, and we are glad to be in a partnership with the Quest in Mackay.” Rebetzke said.

Mackay Basketball has also renamed Court 3 at McDonalds Mackay Stadium and it will now be known as “Quest In Mackay Court 3” in recognition of the support Mackay Basketball receives.

Quest in Mackay managers Russell and Elise Spurrell, were also extremely pleased to be continuing the partnership with Mackay Basketball.  We are lovers of sport in general and love being involved with basketball at all levels and wanted to give the association an opportunity raise funds for ongoing equipment and facility needs, and therefore put the rebate system in place.” Spurell said.

I urge all sporting and community groups to take advantage of the rebate system and we are extremely proud that as an organisation we will be helping sporting groups at all ages and levels, and hopefully encourage participation at the grass roots level.” Spurrell said.
