Entries now open for Waratah Media Awards
Basketball NSW has today opened nominations for the 2016 Molten Waratah League Media Awards.
The 2016 Molten Waratah League Media Award winners will be announced in the week leading up to the 2016 Molten Waratah League Finals weekend on August 13 & 14, 2016.
These awards highlight the exceptional work done across all media outlets reporting on the Waratah League throughout the 2016 season.
Media are encouraged to nominate for their relevant category, with submissions due by COB Friday 29th of July 2016.
The award categories are as follows:
- Best Overall Media Coverage
- Best Action Photo

Media Awards will be assessed on the following:
Best Media Coverage
Open to either Web-based, Print, Radio or TV coverage, best media coverage award will be presented to a media outlet with the best overall coverage of a team or teams in participating in the Waratah League. Copies of press clippings, radio interviews or TV coverage or links to online posts should be included with the nomination.
Best Action Photo
Open to professional and amateur photographers, applies to print to (newspaper or magazine) and online (Facebook, website).
