Referee Development Manager

I am writing to let you know that our current Referee Development Manager, Barry McLeod, has decided to call it a day at Basketball Queensland at the end of 2012 as he is retiring. Barry has done an excellent job in the time that he has been with Basketball Queensland with many more referees in place as a result of his hard work and dedication.
To ensure that we have a smooth transition and to double our efforts for the balance of the year we have decided to employ a new Referee Development Manager as soon as possible. We have placed an ad on the Sportspeople website advertising the position.
If you could also post the following information on your website that would be greatly appreciated:
Basketball Queensland is seeking a Referee Development Manager. The person who fills this position will be self-motivated with a sound knowledge and understanding of basketball refereeing (in particular coaching basketball referees) to assist in the growth and development of basketball referees in Queensland. The Queensland Government provided $250,000 to Basketball Queensland Organisational Development Costs to get more Queenslanders active through sport and recreation and a further $208,000 to Basketball Queensland through the Jobs Plan Initiative.
