This program will be delivered as an extension to the Basketball Queensland Level 1 Course. RBI highly recommends this initiative program to all coaches at clubs and schools who wish to grasp a greater insight to the world of coaching.
Development Officer Shaun Gleeson will be leading this program, providing knowledge and guidance based on his experiences playing in the NBL and his relationships with coaches over the years.
The training course has been designed to enhance the skills and abilities of a coach across a variety of areas to allow them to develop other coaches within your club, and improve the overall performance and professionalism. Understanding areas of improvement and how to communicate those areas are key to the development of players and the relationship between player and coach.
