Skills Alliance Maintainence Work At Hegvold Facility
Rockhampton Basketball has been successful in an application to be included as part of a Skills Alliance Community work project, with funding secured through the Queensland Government. The result of this is that we will have up to 15 dedicated workers assisting with various maintenance, cleaning, and construction projects over the next few weeks.
The long term benefit is clear; a cleaner more effective environment for us to conduct our competitions, programs, and events. In the short term however it is possible that their will be some extra equipment around, with potential changes to traffic flow to ensure members avoid heavy work areas. We ask all members to be patient with us if this does occur.
I've provided an overview of various jobs that the team will be tackling. Depending on timeframes it's possible that this list will expand.
