Working Bee - Saturday 7th March
In the wake of Cyclone Marcia, Rockhampton Basketball has unfortunately sustained some damage to our Stadium. We have experts attending to the these repairs, however the mess that the cyclone left around the Stadium still needs to be cleaned up.
We are calling for volunteers that are able to help with the clean up of the rubbish and debris that has littered Rockhampton Basketball.
When: Saturday 7th March
Time: 8am - Finishing with a sausage sizzle/drinks.
BYO: Gloves, Rakes, Hat, Sunscreen - please ensure you wear closed in shoes.
We will need some other equipment to make the workload easier. We appreciate if anyone is able to assist by lending any of the below equipment:
- Heavy Outdoor Brooms
- Garden/Leaf Blowers
- High Pressure Water Gurney
- Whipper Snipper
Steve Richards ( RBI President) will be coordinating the volunteers for the working bee, if you are able to help and/or bring along any of the equipment we need, could you please contact Steve by phone or email before Friday 6th March.
