Game Previews Below

Div 2 Men
The Eagles have made the trophy games their own over the last few seasons, but with that said the undefeated Frenchville White will go in as favourites.  Boasting a mixture of youth and experience Frenchville White will look to Paul Christensen and Anthony Hick to control the tempo of the game.  Up and coming juniors Sam Lawson and Mylique Prior bring some athleticism in transition and will likely lead the scoring charge for Frenchville.  For the Eagles Brian Blokker's performance will be key.  If Blokker is on song he'll be a tough matchup for Frenchville.  Aaron Edwards, Rob Walls and Joel Greany have also been in good form this season and could provide Eagles with the scoring punch they need.

Frenchville got up by 15 points in the last match up between the teams but expect this one to be much closer.

Prediction:  Frenchville by 3

Div 1 Women
There will be plenty of talent on court in the Div 1 Women's match, headlined by Cyclones and Frenchville Captain  Alex Brady going head to head with Toledo star Chloe Morrow.  Frenchville have only lost one game for the season, which coincidently was a 1 point thriller between the two teams.  Both teams demonstrate good depth with Frenchville getting good contributions from Dana O'Brien, Shannan Muggeridge and Jess Lorraway.  For Toledo, Tai Wakelyn Gray, Sarah Anderson, and Anna Dyer have all stepped up at different stages of the season.

In what looks like a possible Grand Final preview, the team that best controls the defensive end will likely come out on top.

Prediction:  Toledo by 7

Div 1 Men
The Frenchville Panthers top the table in Division 1 Men with Frenchville White taking on the Frenchville Stingers. Both teams play an up-tempo game so expect plenty of scoring in this affair. The Stingers have been building on their youth policy with all eight of their team at 19 or younger.  Damon and Leon Christensen will likely tag-team Rockets captain Mitch Philp in an attempt to slow down the star guards scoring.  A big part of the game will be decided here.  Also look for Jared Blanchard and Jayden Kenny to create havoc in the open court for the Stingers.  Frenchville White should have the ascendency inside with Aaron Glazebrook, Peter Trenerry, and Ben Greany holding size over the Stinger big men.

Although Frenchville White sit top of the table, the Stingers have the ability to break the game open early if White don't bring the right energy.  With a deep roster and plenty of scoring options they will be tough to beat.

Prediction:  Frenchville Stingers by 5
