The Big V Championship Women's title has been run and won and the Hume City Broncos are the champions.
After winning Game One at Broadmeadows last week, the girls had to travel to Ringwood to win one of the remaining two games to secure the title.
Things didn't quite go to plan on Saturday night, as the girls had a loss 74-71.
In the final game on Sunday, the girls rallied around and won a hard fought contest to take the title 79-68.
In a packed Maroondah Stadium, and led by Final Series MVP Sharin Milner, the Broncos were able to rally against a late third quarter comback by the Ringwood Hawks, and although the final score shows a comfortable ten point margin, it was never an easy affair.
Sharin's contribution for the three game Grand Final series included team top scores of 19, 20 and 24 points in the decider, and was instrumental in the final two minutes of the game to ensure the victory.
