Congratulations to these talented junior Clippers representing basketball and Suncoast Clippers.

2. U16 Boys 2014 QLD state team - Continuing a long tradition of our juniors earning rep honours; the latest Clippers to be selected for Queensland are our Under 16 boys trio Tom Fullarton, Bayden Goff and Bede Hooper who will head off to the National Championships in Geelong in July.  Congrats too to Loki Haines who was selected in the emerging State team to compete in the Nunawading Tournament in June.

 

 

 

3.  Bede Hooper, Tom Fullarton and Bayden Goff - All three Clippers boys made terrific contributions to QLD South's 99-68 win over current title holders, Victoria Country, in their opening game of the Australian U16 Basketball Championships in Geelong. Great work Bayden Goff, Tom Fullarton and Bede Hooper.

 

 

 

 

4.  Wollongong Hawks coach, Australian Olympic player and NBL 2014 Coach of the year Gordie McLeod spent time at Mathew Flinders College with some of the Clippers U16 Boys team.

 

 

 

5.  Suncoast Clippers hosted the U11 Qld Championships (July) - Future "star" player and now referee!! How awesome for Nathan Cross to be awarded the Golden Whistle in his first major tournament .. and to be awarded the Gold medal game as a GREEN shirt referee.  Nathan was assessed by Barb Allen from Noosa Basketball and awarded recognition as level 1 Association Intermediate Referee (jumping 2 levels).  You made the Suncoast Clippers very proud Nathan. Well done!

 

 

 

 

6.  Congratulations to Jordan Rost who was selected in the Honorary U15 School Boys Queensland team. He and fellow Clippers Loki Hains, Jekodah Spears and Liam McFerran were members of the Sunshine Coast team which won a silver medal at the State Champs.

 

 

 

 

 

7.  Congratulations to Bayden Goff who was selected in the All Australian AFL Team in last weeks School Nationals Champs. Bayden recently returned from the U16 Basketball Nationals as a member of the QLD team. Well done Bayden.

 

 

 

 8.  A Super star performance by Tom Fullarton at the National U16 boys competition earnt Tom selection to attend the USA tournament as part of an Asia Pacific Team.   Check out this is the link to the USA tournament

9.  Suncoast Clipper players Kara Schooley-Proud, Mel Bateman and Meg. congratulations on making the final of the secondary schools state championships. 

 

 

 

 

10.  Congratulations to Courtney Murphy who has been selected to the Under 16 Girls Queensland South State Squads following the final cut before State Classics. 
Courtney was eligible for selection to the Under 16 South State Teams and Under 15 South Emerging Teams, which will be announced at the end of the Under 16 State Championships in April.

 

So to all our Clippers team - Tom, Bayden, Bede, Loki, Jordan, Jekodah, Liam, Nathan, Courtney, Meg, Mel and Kara, congratulations on all your achievements from all Suncoast Clippers players, coaches, management teams, Junior Committee, the Suncoast Clippers Board and all its members!
