Alan Black resigns from Tigers

Willetton Tigers advise that Alan Black has resigned his MSBL head coach role to take up a consulting position in Malaysia. Alan’s last game as MSBL Head Coach will be against South West Slammers on 29 April.

The Willetton Board has appointed Stephen Black as MSBL Head Coach, with Adam Nener and Mark Heron Assistant Coaches.

Willetton President Phil Nixon said, “The Board wishes Alan well with his appointment and thank him for his contribution to the Willetton Basketball Association”.

He said “Alan’s service as Head Coach of our MSBL program has been greatly appreciated. He has established important building blocks in our MSBL program which gives the club confidence of a bright future”.

Alan said "It was a tough decision to make as the Willetton Tigers are such an important part of my life however the opportunity from a career perspective was too good to pass up."

Stephen is looking forward to his role as MSBL Head Coach as he harnesses the combined talent of the coaches & players.
