Collingwood Basketball Association will have girls and boys teams playing in the Eastern Districts Junior Basketball Association Winter 2014 season. The season begins on Saturday 3rd May.

Registrations are due by 23rd February. Players who do not register by this date may not be placed in a team. A late fee of $10 per player is payable after 23rd February if a place is available.

The season dates are:

• 3rd May - 23rd August (Rounds 1 - 14)
• No matches 7th June, 5th & 12th July
• Finals 30th August - 13th September

Age groups for the Winter season are:

• U9   - players born in 2005 or later
• U11 - players born in 2003 or 2004
• U13 - players born in 2001 or 2002
• U15 - players born in 1999 or 2000
• U17 - players born in 1997 or 1998
• U19 - players born between 1st July 1994 and 31st December 1996

Registration fees per family are:

• Registered and paid by 23rd February: 1 player $120, 2 players $215, 3 players $310. Discount of $10 per player if registered online (preferred).
• Registered or paid AFTER 24th February (if places available): 1 player $130, 2 players $235, 3 players $340. Discount of $10 per player if registered online (preferred).

Playing fee is $7.00 per week.

Domestic shorts are $40 and singlets are $50.

Girls training is usually on Monday nights and boys training is usually on Thursday nights.

Registration Process for Winter 2014 Domestic Teams - Online Preferred

Registrations are preferred online and must be received by 23rd February to ensure placement in a team. Adiscount of $10 per player applies to online registrations. Payments can be made via Visa or Mastercard. See further information below.

Registrations can also be made:

• At the Registration Day on Saturday 15th February at Collingwood College stadium (McCutcheon Way, Collingwood) 10.30 am – 3.00 pm
• By mail or fax until 23rd February
• At the canteen at Collingwood stadium until 22nd February

Registration details must be filled in and payment made to complete registration. The registration form is attached (though online registration is preferred).

Online Registration

Here's what you need to know about online registration

• First choose the number of players you wish to register
• If the first player has been registered online before (for any of our programs), choose "I would like to request my username and password", and then choose "I have registered previously and I know my username and password". You will only need to change details relevant to this season and then pay
• If the player hasn’t been registered online previously choose "I am registering for the first time"
• It is now possible to enter details for multiple family members and make one payment at the end. Some contact details are transferred from the first player to the second.
  • Choose the number of players you wish to register
  • Complete the details for the first player and choose the $110 registration fee
  • If the second player has previously registered online, choose "I would like to request my username and password" and then "I have registered previously and I know my username and password", otherwise choose "I am registering for the first time". Some contact details will be transferred automatically to the second player - please check that all details are correct
  • For additional players, choose the $85 registration fee
• Each player has a separate username and password Do NOT use the same username and password for a second player - you will not be able to change the name and date of birth
• You must pay by VISA or MasterCard. The bank processing fee for online registration will be added to the registration fee

New players who have played with another EDJBA club must be cleared by their previous club. To organise this please contact Megan Rouse at manager@collingwoodbasketball.com.au. before the first game of the season (3rd May).
