Meteors Finish 5th - Future Stars 2013
The weekend started well with a strong wins over Shepparton, Echuca & Hamilton.
The Team then knew they had a tough Sunday ahead when they were scheduled to play Wonthaggi, Bendigo & Swanhill. The girls felt confident and started well with a tight 4 point win over Wonthaggi but had an Overtime lose to Bendigo. The girls had to win against Swanhill to qualify in Division 1 which they did comfortably.
This set up a Division 1 Quarter Final against Traralgon which was tight from start to finish with the home team making the most off it's home court advantage winning by 2 point in a very close game. The loss finishing any further hopes of playing for the 2013 title.
Traralgon went on to lose to Mildura by 20 in the Grand Final.
