DIBF acceptance by FIBA
The FIBA Secretary General - Patrick Baumann wrote: "It is our pleasure to inform you that the FIBA Central Board, during its meeting of 10-11 December 2011 held in Madrid, Spain, had unanimously accepted to officially recognise the Deaf International Basketball Federation (DIBF) as an organisation officially recognised by FIBA in accordance with chapter 4 of the FIBA General Statutes... We are happy to welcome you formally into the FIBA family and look forward to continue working with you in the future. Please be so kind as to convey our congratulations also to your President and Central Board colleagues.".
