2009 SAPES Games
SADB's Mens team competed at the recent SA Police & Emergency Services (SAPES) Games held 7th & 8th May 2009.
The tournament was played out of Mars and Wayville stadiums comprising eight teams.
SADB Men concluded day one with a 2-1 record, entering the championship division for day two. The bottom placed four teams competed in the Premiership division. The competition in the championship division was of a particularly high standard competing against SAPOL and SAMFS who battled it out for the Gold and Silver placings. SADB Men were very disappointed to have run dry for the Bronze medal game versus a red-hot shooting Elizabeth Police team.
The SAPES Games will become a fixture in the annual schedule for SADB preparations.
