The AFL Goldfields Women in Football Scholarships are open to females in the fields of coaching, umpiring and administration. Those considered eligible will be actively involved in coaching, umpiring or administration and who have a genuine desire to enhance their knowledge and skills.
The purpose of this scholarship is to provide females in the AFL Goldfields Region who are involved in Australian Rules Football as a Coach, Umpire or Administrator with the opportunity to undertake training within an existing pathway in the industry to reach their leadership potential.
Total funding of $3,000 has been allocated to promote and enhance aspirations for females across the AFL Goldfields affiliated Leagues and Clubs, with funding provided by AFL Goldfields and also via a generous donation from Dr Susan Alberti.
