NATIONAL BASKETBALL OPPORTUNITIES CONTINUE FOR BRAD RATHJEN

Brad Rathjen continues to impress the Australian Basketball Coaching staff as reflected in him being invited to attend the five day Australian Under 19 Training Camp at the Australian Institute of Sport in Canberra next week.

Rathjen flies to Canberra on Monday to join the best Under 19 basketballers in Australia for the demanding five day program. Adam Caporn, Associate Coach of the Basketball Australia National Centre of Excellence Men’s Program, will be in charge of the Camp.

Caporn, a former NBL player, joined the National Centre of Excellence after serving as Assistant Coach for U.S.A. St Marys College Gaels where he worked with Boomers star Matthew Delavedova.

Brad is currently a Development Player with the Adelaide 36ers and is on the Pioneers’ list for the 2016 season. This Camp provides him with the opportunity to further impress  coaches at the national level and to present himself as a national junior team contender.
