Wellington LFNC Team Management appointed
We are delighted to announce that Dion Te Whetu, (current SMOG 1 Coach) will lead the Wellington team as Head Coach for our 2014 campaign. Dion has amassed an impressive 18 years of coaching experience under his belt at a variety of levels including school, club and representative. He also brings additional perspective as a coach and player of men's netball in Canterbury and at an NZ rep level.
Dion has been busy appointing his supporting team management and we are excited to now name Pelesa Semu (current Head Coach for St Mary's College Senior A) as his Assistant Coach and also Kelly Herbert (2014 U19 Rep Team Manager) takes up the role of Team Manager. Pelesa and Kelly bring a lot of combined experience to the team and we look forward to seeing them gel into a highly effective management team and achieve great things!
It is exciting tto have all three on board to share their depth of netball knowledge and love of the game with our Wellington players this year. We certainly wish them him all the very best!
