New World National Volunteer Award nominations close 7 Sept

It is National New World Volunteer Awards time! New World are once again sponsoring the ‘National Volunteer of the Year Award’.  Netball New Zealand is pleased to be recognising the very best of netball volunteers around the country, who live this game.  Winners will travel and be accommodated with a guest to the Netball New Zealand Event in Auckland, compliments of New World.

Sponsors Message
New World understands that without the hard work of hundreds of volunteers at Zones, Centres and Clubs, Netball in New Zealand would not be the success it is today.  New World has again partnered with Netball New Zealand to celebrate the success of the most dedicated netball volunteers, by awarding them with National Honours.

Nomination Process
As in past years, there are four award categories; Coach, Administrator, Official and Youth Volunteer.

Many individuals could qualify in more than one category; however the nomination of a person may be for only one category each year. It is acknowledged that many individuals’ efforts are the result of several years of commitment and involvement, so a nomination may recognise the individual’s total contribution to netball, over the last few years.

In order to complete this process, please:

1. Read the information below and consult within your school, club or netball community to identify appropriate nominees.

2. Enter online via the following link http://www.mynetball.co.nz/community-netball/volunteers/national-awards/online-nomination.html

All nominations must be received by NNZ by Monday 7th September 2015

The judging and notification timeline:
1. Judging of the categories will take place before 30th September 2015, and contact made with the winners and their Zones soon after.
2. Presentations to the winners of each category will take place at a Netball New Zealand Event.
3. Winners will travel and be accommodated with a guest to the Netball New Zealand Event in Auckland, compliments of New World.
