As a student from Good Shepherd Lutheran College, I have been taught to value those how volunteer and work behind the scenes to make the programs and competions come to life. By doing work experience over the upcoming week, I hope to learn how to efficiently use sporting websites, and to gain knowledge about how the organisation of basketball tornaments works. I believe as a youth of the Top End, it is extremely important to continue passing on knowledege, to keep our basketball competitions alive and progressing, and I am extremely fortunate to have this work experience opportunity.
