Under 10's Runners Up at Kanga Cup
Wagga's Under 10 SAP squad played the game of their lives in the Final of the u10 Male Plate at last week's Kanga Cup. After coming through their pool games undefeated, claiming the scalps of the International Football School, Woden Valley, Weston FC and a draw against Balmain Tigers, they played another team from Balmain, the Roar, on a wet pitch at Lynham in Canberra's north. With the scores 0-0 at half time, the team conceded an early goal in the second half. Pushing forward to try and get an equaliser, they let in two late goals but did Wagga proud with their amazing achievements.
