Track Racing

Dust off the track bike and get ready for track racing at the Velodrome this Wednesday, 24th September & every Wed night. Nominate by 6:00 p.m. Racing starts at 6:30 p.m. for all ages.more

Monthly meeting

Unless advised by email, Monthly meetings are held at the Veldrome office, at 7:00 p.m. on the second Tuesday of each month.

Ryans success

Huge congratulations to Ryan Ford after his results from Queensland Junior Road Titles this weekend! Ryan took home Silver today in the Criterium! Ryan also placed 6th in QLD in the road race yesterday after fighting his way into a breakaway early on in the race. Congratulations Ryan!more

Junior Champions

Two of our promising juniors Sean Boylan and Ryan Ford made the trek down to the national junior track series in Adelaide with good results. They are now at the State Tites at Chandler veldorome. More results soon.more

My Laps has arrived

MY LAPS is installed at the track and is operational for all different types of track racing. Please contact Allan Sutton or Melinda Allen to pay for and pick up your Pro Chip Transponder.

Without it you will not have an accurate result for track racing. Transponders cost $150 and can be part paid for from as little as $10 per week.

Training Rides

ALLPUBLIC HOLIDAYS: 6 a.m. leave from Riverside in Quay Street, Bundaberg. Details to be decided at start.

Monday:Rest Day.

Tuesday: Faster ride, leave blue shop, corner FE Walker & Totten Street. Slower riders (Average 30 km/h) leave 5:20 a.m. Intermediate leave 5:25 a.m. Faster riders leave 5:30 a.m. 30 km to Bargara & Back + 10km warm down.

Wednesday: Ask around for details.

Thursday: Same as Tuesday.

Friday: Same as Wednesday.

Saturday:  Leave blue shop, corner FE Walker & Totten Street at 5:30 a.m. for easy ride via Burnett Heads, Bargara over the Hummock to Rise Bakery at Southside Central for coffee.

Sunday: Departing 5am from blue shop, corner FE Walker & Totten Streets Bundaberg, ride 30 km to Riverside via Bargara.
