Claremont Special School shows how it’s done!

Students from Claremont Special School recently participated in our Backyard League Program. Despite the diverse range of age, experience and ability, all students displayed excellent sportsmanship throughout the 5 week program.

Of course Claremont Special School is no stranger to rugby league. The school often participates in sport expos and other rugby league events.

The stand out quality over the 5 week program was the student’s behavior and commitment. All participants were excited to learn new skills and eager to compete against one another. The students also got a chance to compete against their teachers with great success.

Their efforts were rewarded with all students receiving a certificate of participation, NRL playing cards and their very own football. This way, students at Claremont can keep practicing their skills until our next visit.

On behalf of the ARLD, I would like to thank all students and staff for participating in our program. We look forward to many more visits in the near future.

Comment Guidelines: The SportingPulse Network is made up of players, families and passionate sports followers like you who have a strong opinion about sport. That's great - we want you to have your say and share your thoughts with the world. However, we have a few rules that you must follow to keep it fun for all. Please don't be rude, abusive, swear or vilify others. Apart from some pretty serious sport sanctions, we also can ban you and report you if things get out of hand. So play fair and have fun, and thanks for your contribution.
