2014 Coaching Conference

Football Federation SA is pleased to release further details relating to the 2014 Coaching Conference.

The 2014 Coaching Conference will be held on Sunday 5 October, in a one day 9:00am to 5pm theory only format focussing on Football Conditioning.

COURSE PROGRAMME

Previously a 2 day course, the one day course will still provide 50 points to re-accreditation to all coaches with an A, B or C Licence.

Guest speaker at the conference will be Raymond Verheijen.

Raymond has been a member of the coaching staff of the national teams at three World Cups and three European Championships with Netherlands, South Korea and Russia. He has also worked with a number of European club sides, including Barcelona of Spain, Zenit Saint Petersburg of Russia, English teams Chelseea F.C and Manchester City, as well as Australian team Brisbane Roar.

FFA has used Raymond Verheijen’s periodization model to ensure football conditioning is conducted within the FFA Vision & Philosophy and holistic approach. Raymond’s book ‘Periodization in Football’ is now available for the first time in English.

Feedback from previous conferences indicates there is an enormous interest in additional information regarding the periodization model. Raymond will be coming to Australia to undertake a number of seminars to bring to life the book, presenting a unique opportunity to football coaches in Australia to expand their understanding whilst listening to one of the world’s top football conditioning practitioners.

Raymond’s book ‘Periodization in Football’ will be included in the cost of the conference and utilised throughout.

Register HERE now. Registrations close Monday 22 September.

Course cost: $150.00
