Cumberland United Youths to Represent Australia

Football Federation SA congratulates local Cumberland United footballers Cohan Morris & Kegan Osborne on their recent selection in to the Australian Under 19 Schoolboy’s National Team following the Schoolboy’s tournament in Sydney.

Both playing for Cumberland United in the Seniors, Morris was named Vice Captain of the South Australian side ahead of the tournament in which 5 games in total were played against Western Australia, the A.C.T., Queensland, New South Wales and Victoria. Osborne completed the tournament as equal top goal scorer for South Australia.

Following the tournament the highest achievers from across the country were selected for the Australian U19 Schoolboy’s National Team with Kegan & Cohan being named the only male representatives from South Australia in the primary squad.

The side will travel to the United Kingdom in January for three weeks, visiting England, Ireland and Wales while playing a number of matches.

The games are against the youth teams of professional clubs such as Cardiff City as well as the U19 Schoolboy teams of England, Ireland, Scotland and Wales.

Football Federation SA wishes both Cohan, Kegan and the entire squad the best of luck at the tournament.
