Rick Schneider to Officiate 2015 Cup Final

Football Federation SA (FFSA) is pleased to announce that Senior Referee Rick Schneider will officiate the Westfield FFA Cup Preliminary Rounds S.A. Final between Adelaide City and Croydon Kings this Sunday 28 June 2015 at Elite Systems Football Centre.

Schneider is a PlayStation 4 National Premier League South Australia Referee Panellist and is currently a member of the Football Federation Australia National Talent Pool. Sunday’s match will be Schneider’s first Senior Cup Final and he is excited at being appointed to this year’s Westfield FFA Cup Preliminary Round Final.

“Like players, match officials work hard to be involved in a Final and it’s an honour to receive such an appointment.

“The standard of football has been quite high this year and I’m looking forward to being part of a match involving two very good teams.

“I’m working with a great team of officials and can’t wait to be part of the experience.”

FFSA Head Referee Coach, Craig Zetter congratulated Schneider on his appointment.

“Rick’s appointment to the Westfield FFA Cup Preliminary Round Final is in recognition of his strong performances throughout all competitions this year. Our assessors have reported that his performances are of a high quality and as such he is worthy of this appointment.”

Schneider will be joined by Assistant Referees Sean Grimmond and Samuel Kuys with Daniel Cook as Fourth Official.

Football Federation SA congratulates all match officials on their appointment.
