ARL Development, in conjunction the NRL Referees and NSWRLRA are conducting a coaching clinic in the July school holidays. The clinic is aimed at experienced referees (those regularly refereeing international football in their districts) and will give participants the opportunity to interact with the NRL Referees Squad. The clinic will be based in the NRL Referees Headquarters at ANZ Stadium in Sydney Olympic Park.
The day will be focused on developing referees understanding of laws and interpretations, and then using this information and applying it to a skills and drills session in the afternoon.
The coaching clinic will include a Laws of the Game section, a physical training session in the ANZ Stadium gym, participating in the NRL Referees Squad video session, and an outdoors skills and drills section. Coaches include Bill Harrigan, Stuart Raper, Steve Clark and Chris Ward.
When: Tuesday July 3rd
Where: Sydney Olympic Park
Time: Registration at 8:00am SHARP. Sessions will conclude at 2:00pm.
Inclusions: NRL Training shirt and lunch
What to bring: Association training gear, football boots and joggers, water bottle, pen
