NEWS: Geelong female refs donate their time for local charity

TWO young local female referees, Emanuella Fierro and Olivia La Spada, recently donated their time to assist with the Red Cross "Power of Humanity" program.

The budding Level 4 referees from Geelong baked a range of goods as a fundraiser at a recent Geelong Northern Hub Mini-Roos Gala day.

Although all their fundraising will go to Red Cross, they have asked for it to be directed to the "Breakfast in Schools" program which supports five schools in Geelong, in particular those in struggling areas.

This is a fantastic initiative by two of our newest referees who are fine examples of young leaders in the local community.
