COLAC Otway Rovers AFC are happy to announce that we have been the fastest growing football club in the Geelong League (GRFC) for season 2015 with an increase in membership of 223.5% (See below). This is a great achievement for a regional based club within a 19 club strong league.

Whilst we are still a small club by definition (in numbers), the results are reflective of the hard work undertaken by the committee, players and supporters over the past two years, to promote the game and club and to recruit and retain members. Providing football as a serious alternative to the more established and traditional sports.

Our move to Beeac has also been a huge success. The Beeac community has welcomed football of the round ball type into their town and have been attending home matches showing the club great support. The Beeac facilities are perfect for football and we have had positive feedback from all visiting teams regarding the facility and the town of Beeac itself.

This year, the Club will be fielding two junior teams following on the successful fielding of our first juniors team last season.

Liam Power has taken on the role of Club President and has been working hard to further the work undertaken over the past several years. Samantha Hare remains our Secretary and too has been performing excellently in her capacity on a volunteer basis.

David Latham has been inducted as a Life Member of the Club. This is in recognition of his dedication, contribution and ongoing participation in the game and Club.

We are excited by the season ahead and are looking to continue the great success we have had in bringing the game to Colac Otway residents and them to the great game.
