Emerging Talent Program Expression of Interest 2015

The Gippsland Soccer League is seeking an Expression of Interest from all Gippsland players for the Emerging Talent Program squads competing in Football Federation Victoria’s Sportsmart South Divisions in 2015.

Emerging Talent Program (ETP) Overview

The ETP supports the GSL’s vision for Talented Player, Coach Education/Development and Volunteer engagement at the ‘Advanced Pathway’ level and is the first step towards providing a platform for Gippsland to be included in the Victorian National Premier League in 2017.

The establishment of the GSL ‘Skills Development Programs’ across the South, Central & East divisions in 2014 will also offer a feeder and further support the link between Community (Club) Football and the Talented Player Pathways (ETP). This will also act as a platform for future identification to State representation and potentially National Training Centre (NTC) programs.

In 2015 the ETP will also be partnered by Gippsland Sports Academy (GSA). This partnership will bring to services such as Nutrition/Diet, Psychology, Injury Management, ASADA and Football Conditioning to the ETP and provide an increased holistic approach to player development. The GSA is also supported by the Victorian Institute of Sport and Football Federation Victoria.
