The Water Festival Parade is this Saturday 6 Sept and the parade begins at 5pm.  As we can not have all the kids on the float we would love to see as many players and parents come along and march along side our float in support for Lexi and Burdekin Basketball dressed in their supporters shirt if they have one.  We are looking for 3 more adults who would be willing to dress up and play a character for our float theme.  They will not be recognised, if this is an issue,  as their faces will be painted to blend into the costume they will be wearing.  We would really like to fill these 3 characters as they are really important to the overall look of the float and theme.  If anyone would like to know more and nominate themselves they can contact me on 0427 620 052.  We will be gathering at the Stadium at approx. 2.30pm to put the finishing touches on the float and get everyone into character and then moving onto the Tropical City Motel side of Anzac Park to assemble for jugding which takes place from 4pm.  If this time frame changes over the coming week I will be contact to inform the club members of the change as it will depend on how long Erica will need to complete the face paint for the adult characters. 

Can all parents please ensure their children are at the courts 5 mins before their game starts so that the games can commence on time.

Remember parents we need your assistance during our fixtures.   Please watch the weekly draw to see if you are rostered on to score (which includes taking the team uniforms home that week to wash) and/or canteen duty.   If it is your turn to help out and cannot do it, please find a replacement.
