State Classics Over for another Year
Well another Representative year is over. Three of our Teams proudly sponsored by NQ Employment and Telstra Ayr travelled to compete at their respective age group State Championships.
Congratulations to our U16 Boys who travelled to Mackay and bought home the GOLD MEDAL in Division 3.
Congratulations to our U16 Girls who travelled to Townsville and finished 4th in Division 3.
And finally congratulations to our U14 Girls who travelled to Ipswich and placed 5th in Division 2. These girls actually only lost one game out of seven in the whole championship which unfortunatley was the Quarter final and therefore knocked them out of a medal game.
A big thank you to the coaching and managerial staff for all of our Rep teams for the last 8 months of training and competition. Your dedication and commitment is appreciated.
Fixtures start again this week and the draw is attached previously.
Stay tuned for our Combined Age Group Rep Break up date. This year we will be combining the Break Up with a fundraising event called REP PARENT FUN BASKETBALL. This day will be all parents of our rep players having a go at a game of basketball in their respective Rep Teams. The kids will coach and score, the parents will play...... Now that will be interesting. Start training now adults. We have had a day like this in the past and it was a big success. A date will be decided shortly.
