By-Laws | Junior Summer 16/17

The following Junior summer season by-law points of clarification are provided to support our large and loyal membership of junior Basketballers.

1.Playing Up – no change from what was instituted in the Winter season 2016 (thus, clubs do not have to change their entire membership to play in correct age groups – from U14-U16)

a. Players who are eligible and are currently playing up an age group between U14, U15 & U16 can continue to do so this season.

b. All players that fall within the age groups U8, U10, U11, U12, U13 (Boys) & U18 must play in their correct age group – per previous agreed by-laws and current practice

2. WABL Points – exact same points, loyalty provisions and divisional point allocations as per Winter season 2016 (thus, this will be very familiar)

a. 13pts + up to 6pts allowed for homegrown/loyalty criteria

b. Champ (4pts), D2 (3pts), D3 (2pts) & D4 (1pt)

c.  Regarding our U18 girls competition – our WABL U18 WHITE team incur 4pts, our WABL U18 GREEN incur 3pts per player

3.WABL Season – WABL points will now be allocated based upon the revised 2016 WABL season (this current season, not last year’s points loadings)

4.Non-Wolves WABL Player – these WABL players will incur the same points allocation as per a Wolves WABL player (see point 2)

a. Champ (4pts), D2 (3pts), D3 (2pts) & D4 (1pt)

Enjoy your Basketball!
