Gladstone Senior Grand Finals
This weekend is going to be a scintillating weekend of football with the Gladstone Community Senior Grand Finals being played. The finals this weekend will be held at Boyne Island Tannum Sands Football Club.
Kicking off the day will be the epic battle between BITS Sharks and Clinton in the women’s grand final. This will be a match not to be missed as both teams are in great form at the moment and will be hungry to win the right to call themselves the champions of the 2014 Women’s League. This match will kick off at 2:15pm.
Following the women’s grand final will be the men’s 2nd Division final between BITS and Clinton. These two teams have been very close in terms of results and the final standings in the league during the season. Two teams that are very close in ability and will be determined to earn bragging rights as champions for 2014, so this match has classic written all over it.
Saving the best for last is the 1st Division men final between Meteors and Yaralla. If anyone was to go on previous results between these two teams, then this match is going to be a ripper. With both teams in great form and hungry to win the rights to be champions for 2014, you can be assured this will be a battle of the titans.
Boyne Island Tannum Sands Football Club will have full canteen and bar facilities available on the day. Make sure you come down and support local football here in Gladstone as it will be a day not to be missed.
