FNQ Female Footballers at the NATIONALS

The 2014 Australian National Championships for Girls (7-11 July) was recently held in Coffs Harbour. This photo is taken at the closing ceremony.  The 3 FNQ Heat girls were selected for their Queensland Teams after being identified in NPL games vs NQ Fury and then after attending a further Selection Camp in Brisbane, along with other Regional & Metropolitan girls.  The girls are (L-R): La-tesha Foster (U13 QLD Girls), Ayana Aoyagi & Jenae Farley (U15 QLD Girls).

The National Championships were a great opportunity for the girls to compete at the top level of their game against other girls from all over Australia.  The girls also had the fantastic opportunity to play in front of the Coaches and Selectors of Australia's National Women's Teams. Attending the National Championships was an awesome experience for the girls (as well as their parents, who were spectating!).
