Four Queensland clubs will again compete in the Westfield FFA Cup Round of 32 after Football Federation Australia announced the Member Federation allocations on Wednesday.

Football Queensland's allotment remains unchanged for 2015 following a review of the competition's  inaugural year and feedback from the Westfield FFA Cup Advisory Committee.

The Committee - which is comprised of representatives from the Member Federations, Hyundai A-League clubs, the Professional Footballers Association and FFA - recommended each Member Federation for at least one full slot, with additional allocations based on 2014 registered participation numbers and the number of each Member Federation’s entrants in the Preliminary Rounds.

Changes for the 2015 installment of the knock-out competition will see the Northern Territory enter the competition for the first time and the previously announced addition of direct qualification for the 2014 PlayStation 4 National Premier Leagues Finals Series Champion - South Australian club MetroStars SC.

Football New South Wales see their allocations reduced from seven to five to accomodate.

Head of Hyundai A-League Damien De Bohun said the Westfield FFA Cup model would continue to be assessed as the competition grows.

"In allocating the slots for next year, it’s important to note that the Westfield FFA Cup is still in its infancy, and after reviewing all of the feedback, this model is the most appropriate for the Westfield FFA Cup in 2015," De Bohun said.

"We will continue to review the success of this model as the Westfield FFA Cup further develops and will not rule out the possibility of making changes in the future to improve the competition."

PlayStation 4 NPL Queensland clubs impressed in the competition's first year as Palm Beach SC, Brisbane Strikers, FNQ FC Heat and Olympic FC combined for four victories on the national stage.

Their debut campaigns included away fixtures around Australia, wins over fellow Member Federation outfits and matches against fully-professional Hyundai A-League clubs.

Palm Beach were the final Queensland club eliminated from the competition, reaching the Quarter Final stage and outlasting the state's sole Hyundai A-League representatives, Brisbane Roar.

Further details on Queensland's qualification pathway for the 2015 Westfield FFA Cup will be confirmed at a later date.
