In the junior varsity bracket, defending champs Samoana will not repeat this year as they are sitting back in fourth with no chance of overtaking the top 3 – Leone, Faga’itua and Tafuna, respectively.

The Lions are leading by a point (13) over Faga’itua (12) while the Warriors are third (10) with all three having three games remaining to play.

Nu’uuli Voc-Tech has the opportunity to play spoiler as they face the Vikings (April 9) and Warriors (April 10) while the Sharks can foil Leone’s chances if they beat them on April 10.

The Lions’ other opponent is Tafuna on April 9.
